Sadly, most Americans admit to doing little more than basic recycling when it comes to acting on that disposition. What is the reason for this great divide between environmental sentiment in this country and individual actions? Author and environmental consultant Crissy Trask seeks to answer this question-and solve the disparity-with a new book that makes it easy to be an environmentalist, no matter how busy or hectic your lifestyle. This is a day to day guide with simple, practical suggestions that anyone can put into action, like:

It Really is Easy!Jan 12, 2010 A resource as valuable as it is compact. You can read this little book in a few hours, but it'll provide weeks if not months of simple green lifestyle alterations to make and green websites to visit. My suggestion: buy a copy for yourself, and another for everyone you know.
You'll all breathe easier knowing you're helping our Earth.

quick tipsOct 14, 2009 the book is good for some quick tips on where to get started with being green. Each tip has 3 empty boxes next to it so you can mark which one's you are working on, which one's you would like to work on and then rank yourself at how well you are doing. pretty useful for a place to start.

Great read but text very smallMay 25, 2009 I'm still reading this book but the text is so small that I can only read a little at a time before I have to set it down. I would love it if the text was larger. If you have trouble reading small print, trust me this book is not for you. I have great vision and find reading this book more of an effort than a relaxing read. Anyway, if you can get past the small print, the book does contain great info on green living. If it were larger print I would give it 4 stars.
